Korean Air says its Seoul Incheon–Oita service will return on October 25. The announcement came out on September 11.
If you’re planning a winter trip to Yufuin or Beppu, Oita is another airport to include in the fare search alongside Fukuoka.
Dates and flight times
The announced season runs from October 25, 2026 to March 26, 2027, with flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
| Route | Departure | Arrival |
|---|---|---|
| Incheon → Oita | 09:15 | 10:50 |
| Oita → Incheon | 12:00 | 13:45 |

This isn’t a daily flight. If you’ve already booked a ryokan, check that the flight days fit your stay. A cheaper ticket may not save much if moving the hotel booking comes with a cancellation fee.
The morning departure also matters if you’re travelling to Incheon from another part of Korea. Check whether the first train or bus gets you there in time, or whether you’d need a night near the airport.
For the return, a noon departure means working backwards from the airport check-in time. If you want breakfast at the ryokan before leaving, check the transfer first. I haven’t checked the airport bus timetable for this article, so the flight times alone aren’t enough to plan that connection.
The announcement doesn’t settle the fare or baggage allowance for your booking either. Compare the total price against Fukuoka for the same dates before deciding.
For accommodation, my earlier reviews cover Ikkoten and Oyado Yufunoshou. They describe those past stays; check current rates separately.
Announced September 11, 2026. Checked September 14, 2026. Confirm the schedule for your date with Korean Air before booking.
